Hi there, and welcome to my site. You’ve obviously come here for some reason, whether it be to check out my blog posts, or examine my coding examples, or take a gander at some of my artwork. I hope you find what you’re looking for and enjoy your visit here.
Since you’ve visited this page, I assume you would like to know a little bit about me. If you’re a potential employer, you should take a look at my résumé, which you can download at the link below. If you’re someone else, I’ll give you the skinny on my non-professional life. I currently attend Elon University, where I am a member and the webmaster of the Epsilon Alpha chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. No, I’m not your typical party-going, binge-drinking frat boy, and I’m okay with that. I’m able to enjoy the friends that I’ve made in the organization while still doing my own thing.
What exactly is my own thing, you ask? Well, a lot of it centers around different forms of art. I’ve become really interested in design, especially in the area of web design. No, I didn’t create the design for this site, but I did make my Tumblr theme, which you can check out at the link at the top of this page. I’m also very interested in various genres of music, television, and movies. I don’t create any of these things, but I know some people who do, and they’re awesome. I also am an avid comic book reader and science fiction nerd.
Outside of that, the main parts of what makes me who I am are my majors. I’m a computer science and computer information systems major who is also getting a minor in business administration because, hey, it’s just one extra class. I wont go through all of my proficiencies in my fields, that’s what my résumé (again, right down there behind that link) is for, but the field that I’ve fallen in love with is mobile computing, especially when it comes to programming for iPhones and Android devices. I’m not currently looking for employment, as I’m not graduating for another year and I’m working this summer at The Iconfactory.
For a little bit more history about me, I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and have been surrounded by computers for most of my life. My family has always been very technologically oriented, and that rubbed off on me at a very early age. Because of that, my life is very closely integrated with the latest in technology news and development. I have a love of beautiful UI design, and try to bring that love into all the work that I do.
I'm a computer science/computer information systems major at Elon University. iPhone (and sometimes Android) developer. Design hobbyist. Music, film, video game and comic book enthusiast. Software development intern at The Iconfactory. I'm just a geek, and I'm just this guy, you know?
